TAKING A MINUTE FROM PRODUCTIVITY BECAUSE, PHOTOS.
My parents are lame and not answering my text messages for them to send me the photos I’m asking for (edit: mom sent one, still waiting on another) but the official race photos are out and therefore posting this obviously cannot wait.
Top: Me & Meesh before & after, is it weird that we are happier after running 13.1 miles? No? Okay, good.
Row 2: momster, her friend, meesh & me before
Row 3: AFTER (again with all the happiness)
Row 4: total basassery right? I mean look at that determination. werk it.
Row 5: I AM FUCKING CROSSING THE FINISH LINE HOLY SHIT; I CROSSED AND I AM SO HAPPY I AM ALIVE
Bottom: Me looking rull cool with the thumbs up and Meesh with the sass but wdgaf because we did it.
I am so proud of myself and I don’t even care if that’s weird. 13.1 miles was something that didn’t even begin to entire my realm of possibility. It was an impossible feat. Something that only “real” runners could do (ahem, see this quote).
But I did it. I ran the entire distance. I ran 13.1 miles for 2.5 hours. I’m ready to take a break from training, but this will not be my last half marathon. I’m looking forward to setting a goal for me next one!
